Bob Alford

Bob Alford was transplanted to Southern California in early 1955 at the age of 5. By age 8 he had already been exposed to and "HOOKED" by "THE CUSTOM CAR BUG" and by age 14, he was being mentored by a few of the local "CUSTOM GURUS" in the Oxnard, Ventura area and was already producing some of his early custom paint work.

Bob has produced quite a number of Rods and Customs along the way including a pair of Custom Knuckleheads built by him and long time friend Ed Breedlove, who we think is a distant cousin to Craig Breedlove, also famous for his endeavors at "The Bonneville Salt Flats". The Knuckleheads were built as Bob's Knuckleheadtwins and were appropriately named "The V TWINS", and were featured in an article and the front cover of "Custom Bike Magazine" in August of 1982.

Currently the properitor of both Pro Street Customs and Pro Street Choppers, Bob takes each student under his wing to be sure they are taught the right way to do things.
